Today it is becoming more clear that the new generations often think about "work" differently than the baby boomers have in the past, and in many cases still do (for example). Many studies have been done on certain generational differences in the way that people think and act, including when sizing up different job opportunities. As a recruiter, you may want to keep in mind that today’s candidate pool includes Millennials, GenX, GenY, and Baby Boomers. And depending upon the individual candidate, the generation they are a part of may have an influence on what they value in work, and how they evaluate one job or company to work for over another.
